Update of isochrone maps for the City of Leipzig
Hosoya Schaefer, Architects, Zurich, Switzerland, commisisoned TCP International with the update and new calculation of isochrone maps for road and rail passenger traffic for the City of Leipzig for 2010 and, based upon coded transport outline plans, as projection for the year 2030. This calculation relates to earlier works in 2007, where Mr. Carsten Schürmann already generated similar isochrone maps for Leipzig for the years 1985, 1990, 2005 and 2025. The new maps will become part of the exhibition of the VW Automobile City in Wolfsburg, Germany. Isochrone calculation will be based upon the RRG GIS Database, a GIS database of trans-European transport networks, which inter alias already includes the hostoric development of road, rail, air and waterway networks since 1950.
