EUREGIO freight corridor: Worshop on border obstacles in the logistics sector

As part of the EUREGIO freight corridor project, a bilingual workshop was held on July 4, 2016 in Hotel Driland in Gronau on border obstacles in the logistic sector in the EUREGIO. 25 representatives of companies, business associations and public authorities discussed technical, operational, infrastructural and administrative obstacles to cross-border freight transport. Apart of the identification of these barriers, focus was given to search for solutions and also for potentials arising from the location in an border area, as a first step towards the development of an action program.
The workshop was organized and conducted by the project team led by Spatial Foresight (LU), together with TNO Delft (NL) and TCP International (DE).
