Europa XXI - Special Issue on Transport Accessibility at Regional Scale in Europe

The Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization of the Polsih Academy of Science (IGiPZ PAN) recently published a special issue of its international journal Europa XXI on Transport Accessibility at Regional Scale in Europe (Volume 24, 2013). Carsten Schürmann contributed to this issue with a paper on Accessibility patterns: Baltic States Case Study.
This special issue features the results of the ESPON TRACC research project which on the one hand aimed to analyse the accessibility situation in Europe as a whole, and on the other hand provided in-dephts insights into current and future accessibility patterns for seven case study regions in Europe (i.e. West Mediterranean, Northern Italy, Bavaria, Czech Republic, Poland, Baltic States, and Finland).
Full reports of this research project can be downloaded from ESPON TRACC website.
