Sustainable Urban Transport Masterplan for Windhoek (SUTMP Windhoek)

On behalf of the Namibian Ministry of Works and Transport (MWT), the City administration of Windhoek (CoW), as well as the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) a consortium of TCP International (lead partner, Germany) and Aurecon (South Africa) is commissioned to develop an Sustainable Urban Transport Master Plan for the City of Windhoek (SUTMP Windhoek). For the first time for Windhoek, this Master Plan will develop integrated and sustainable transport solutions including road, public transport and non-motorized transport. The Master Plan is expected to be agreed in May 2013.
