New ESPON project: Inner Peripheries - National territories facing challenges of access to basic services of general interest
As part of an eight-member project group, led by the University of Valencia, TCP International is involved in the delineation, identification and quantitative analysis and description of inner peripheries in Europe. The concept of inner peripheries is a rather new concept in spatial sciences and also in spatial policies. Therefore, the main objective of the project is to develop, for the first time for the whole of Europe, a comprehensive, europe-wide delineation and description of these areas. |
