Study on Rail Noise for EU Parliament completed

TCP International participated in a study on behalf of the EU Parliament about the options to reduce rail noise. The study discussed the technical and economic options for measures mainly concerning freight transport. TCP International calculated the external noise costs for the case study Middle Rhine Valley and compared the monetarised benefits of various abatement measures. Additionally, international experiences in rail noise abatement were analysed.
