Training on Sustainable Urban Transport in Jordan

 

 

 In Mai 2013 Dr Niklas Sieber conducted a two-days training session in the Jordanian Cities of Amman and Irbid. Participants were transport planners and communication officers from the city administrations. Contents of the training were approaches towards Sustainable Urban Transport, especially Public and Non-Motorised Transport. Since the Arab Spring has its impacts as well in Jordan, the participants were especially interested in methodologies of participative planning.
