Carsten Schürmann has participated in the Vital Nodes workshop in Hamburg on May 30, 2018, where he gave a presentation entitled 'Urban TEN-T nodes in Germany - Challenges, Activities and Strategy Development', presenting interim results of the MORO project 'Urban Nodes in the TEN-T network in Germany'. Both project complement each other. While the MORO project analysis the current situation, role and activities of the 13 German urban nodes along the TEN-T core network, Vital Nodes aims to establish a permanent network of all 88 European urban nodes.
